The sales team are responsible for selling the products or services to customers. They may work in a store, call potential customers on the telephone, or visit them in their businesses or homes. This is a very important part of the business as they are often the only contact with the company that the public has. They will be given training in how to achieve the maximum number of sales. If they are able to achieve high levels of sales they will often be rewarded with extra pay, this could be in the form of commission or bonuses for reaching certain targets.
